What this helps you decide

Know your costs before you buy.

Two installers can pay the same price for a lead and get very different results. Job margin, follow-up costs and completed installations change what is left.

Compare the full cost

Check pay-per-lead, a monthly agency fee with ads, or a mix of both. Add agency and salesperson commission separately.

Use your own numbers

Plan with an assumption, or review money received from leads you already bought. Keep solar and heat pump jobs separate when their costs differ.

Read the calculation and its limits

For a plan, completed jobs = leads × your assumed conversion percentage. Money left = job revenue − delivery costs − marketing and sales costs − commission. Monthly agency fees are multiplied by the number of months you enter.

A review uses actual customer payments, refunds, job costs and selling costs linked to the same batch of leads. Payments received and costs incurred are different from final accounting profit or your bank balance.

Use one VAT basis throughout. Leave room for other overheads and tax. The calculation does not promise future results, model cash timing or check your records. You can expand the full workings with your result.
