Heat Pump Lead Providers Compared: A UK Installer's Guide

Forhad Sarker · ·
A heat pump beside a supplier comparison of enquiries, appointments and pricing.

Buying air source heat pump leads gets confusing when one company sells a homeowner’s details and another sells a booked visit. A lower price tells you little until you know what your team will receive and who else will contact that homeowner.

This guide compares PoweredLeads with five other UK heat pump lead providers. We checked their public offers on 6 September 2026. The table separates their products, sharing rules and advertised prices so you can shortlist suppliers for your area.

Want heat pump enquiries without running an advertising campaign? Start with PoweredLeads. We supply homeowner enquiries from £45 per accepted lead for your team to call and quote. Tell us where you install and how many leads you want. Get my heat pump lead options →

PoweredLeads is our company, so we feature it first. The other providers follow in alphabetical order. This compares published offers, not tested sales results or an independent league table.

Compare the lead products first

Each company name links to the page we checked. “Ask for a quote” means that page did not publish a numerical ASHP lead price. Check VAT, order size and current availability with the supplier before comparing totals.

The details that change your shortlist

1. PoweredLeads: buy heat pump leads without managing the ads

Best for: Installers with a team ready to call homeowners, arrange surveys and quote, who want to pay for enquiries instead of running an advertising campaign.

We find homeowners asking about heat pumps in the areas you cover and send their details to your team. You pay per accepted lead, from £45, with no separate advertising budget or monthly management fee on lead orders. Prices vary with order size and repeat orders; you see your price before you buy.

If you install solar too, you can request both through PoweredLeads. The same pricing structure applies to solar and heat pumps. We check coverage for each and agree what information your team needs with a lead.

Why choose us: A published starting price, solar and heat pump leads from one supplier, and a clear split of the work: we find the enquiries; your team handles the calls and quotes.

Check the fit: These are enquiries for your team to follow up. If you need someone to book visits into your diary, compare the appointment services below. Before you order, we confirm the areas, volume, delivery, sharing and rules for wrong details.

2. Boiler Guide: buying individual enquiries

Boiler Guide lets approved installers choose leads from a dashboard, with no minimum buying requirement. You can see how many companies have bought each lead. That makes it worth checking if you want to buy individual opportunities as they appear. Ask how many installation enquiries are available in your postcodes and what happens if the contact details are wrong. Boiler Guide’s trade offer.

3. HelloClicks: agree the exact service

HelloClicks describes lead delivery by email, phone, API or CRM, plus calendar booking. Its page gives less detail about ASHP pricing and sharing than some others here. Ask for those terms in the proposal, including whether you pay per enquiry, per appointment or for campaign management. Confirm any advertising budget separately. HelloClicks’ ASHP service.

4. Lead Pronto: separate the advertised lead price from other products

Lead Pronto’s £15 starting price applies to heat pump leads. Don’t use it as the price of a booked appointment or a campaign under your own brand. The company describes a rejection policy agreed for each campaign. Ask which reasons it accepts and how to report a lead, along with the current price for your area. Lead Pronto’s heat pump pricing.

5. Leads 2 Trade: check which product your quote covers

Leads 2 Trade’s sharing rules depend on the product. Its Hot Key service transfers a customer to you on the phone; its Premium service books appointments for up to three installers. Ask for the named product on your quote, rather than relying on a general promise about exclusive leads. The ASHP page also lists MCS registration and trading-history requirements for installer accounts. Leads 2 Trade’s product breakdown.

6. Watts Marketing: compare the cost of a booked visit

Watts describes a phone qualification process before placing an appointment in your diary. It also discusses credits for bookings that fall outside its standard. Ask how it handles cancellations, missed appointments and homes that fail your survey. Its initial checks give your team context; you still need to assess the installation yourself. Watts’ heat pump appointment offer.

Put the quotes on the same basis

Choose the product that fits the work your team can do. If someone can call new enquiries throughout the day, a web lead gives them that first conversation. If your surveyor needs confirmed visits, ask appointment suppliers about attendance and cancellations before comparing their prices with enquiry prices.

Send your shortlisted suppliers the same brief:

We install air source heat pumps in [postcodes] and want around [number] new enquiries a month. Please quote for [enquiries / booked appointments]. Tell us who else receives each lead, what you check with the homeowner, the total cost including any fees, and your replacement or credit terms. Please include an anonymised example of what our team receives.

The example record helps you compare missing information. A promised phone check is more useful when you can see which answers reach your team. Ask for the actual wording used about grants and customer contributions if funding enquiries form part of the offer.
